Of the 18,485 students enrolled in Rankin County School District in the 2023-24 school year, 62.2% were white, according to the Mississippi Department of Education.

Among the 27 schools in the district, Northwest Rankin High School had the largest enrollment of white students in the 2023-24 school year.
