Please help us in welcoming Mary Burnette!!
Mary Burnette was appointed as the Executive Director of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce effective June 20, 2022.
Before assuming the role as Executive Director, Ms. Burnette served as the Governmental Affairs Director and Events Coordinator for the Central Mississippi REALTORS since April of 2018. While in this role, Mary was able to coordinate educational and social events for the REALTOR members as well as plan and execute Community Outreach events such as a 5k Color Run that most recently benefitted Shower Power MS and an annual golf tournament whose proceeds benefitted the Children’s of MS expansion project.
Mary is passionate about and committed to helping people. She is a connector who loves to bring people together. She is skilled in taking a project from concept to reality. Mary hopes to instill purpose and value as well as foster a culture of community support in all businesses, old and new, in Madison County.
Mary is a lifelong Mississippi resident and is recently engaged to Matthew Keller. Between them they have six children, and are actively involved in their activities. She attends Word of Life church. Mary enjoys gardening, going to the gym, snuggling with her Min Pin Stella, cheering for LSU or MSU, trying out new restaurants, or enjoying a lazy afternoon at home.
