The median income of Ridgeland residents was an inflation-adjusted $35,223 per year. Ridgeland had 10,615 households in 2017, with a population of 24,312.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Madison. Madison's median income was $46,891 per year after adjusting for inflation – $11,668 more than Ridgeland. It had 9,151 households in 2017 and a population of 25,350.
