Yesterday, Simpson County School District gathered together to bid farewell to our Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and Operations, Dr. Robert Sanders, during a surprise Going-Away Party.

On July 1, Dr. Sanders will begin a new chapter as assistant superintendent for Hinds County School District.

We are thankful for Dr. Sanders and all he has done for our students, our schools and our staff while serving in the roles of Mendenhall High School principal and of assistant superintendent for the past eight years.

Thank you, Dr. Sanders, and best wishes in your new endeavor.
