Ridgeland High School senior Xzeria Denson is the 2022 recipient of the Jersey Mike’s Naismith High School Basketball Courage Award, one of the highest honors of courage in the nation for high school athletes. This award recognizes two high school basketball players in the country, one girl and one boy, who have consistently gone above and beyond throughout the basketball season, exhibiting courage in their approach to team, school, and community. Coach Jessica Packer describes Denson as a hard worker and an incredible leader on and off the court.
