Congressman Michael Guest, who represents Mississippi’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of messages on his social media account covering topics from fiscal responsibility to religious observance and American history.

On April 2, 2026, Guest shared information about the efforts of House Republicans regarding taxpayer funds: “See how House Republicans have been working to protect your tax dollars: https://t.co/ojfH9cUVYR”.

The following day, April 3, he marked a significant Christian observance by posting: “Today, we remember the suffering of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the cross. It is through the cross that we find salvation. As John 14:6 says, ‘Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’ https://t.co/2twncgV1FB”.

Later that same day, Guest highlighted an aspect of American history as part of an ongoing celebration: “Fun Fact Friday: As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence, I want to highlight some of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. Roger Sherman was a signer from Connecticut who not only signed the Declaration of Independence, but he also worked https://t.co/m2xNAGlCTw”.

Guest has served in Congress since replacing Gregg Harper in 2019 and continues to represent Mississippi’s 3rd District. Born in Woodbury, New Jersey in 1970 and currently residing in Brandon at age 53, Guest holds degrees from Mississippi State University (BS) and the University of Mississippi (JD).
