Congressman Michael Guest, who represents Mississippi’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on February 25, 2026, regarding President Trump’s State of the Union address and his family’s involvement in the event.
In one post from that evening, Guest wrote: “Grateful to have my son, Kennedy, in our nation’s capital for President Trump’s State of the Union address this evening. Thank you for allowing our family the opportunity to serve.” (February 25, 2026).

Michael Guest has served as a member of Congress since replacing Gregg Harper in 2019 and continues to represent Mississippi’s 3rd District. Born in Woodbury, New Jersey in 1970 and currently residing in Brandon at age 53, Guest holds degrees from Mississippi State University (BS) and the University of Mississippi (JD).
