Congressman Michael Guest, who represents Mississippi’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of messages on his social media accounts commemorating historical events and highlighting border security efforts.
On December 8, 2025, Guest reflected on the anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack, writing, “Today we remember the day in history in which Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japan and America was plunged into the Second World War. Tragically over 2,400 Americans lost their lives that day. We will never forget the sacrifices of these brave warriors.”
Later that same day, Guest addressed his role as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Border Security and Enforcement. He stated, “As the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Border Security and Enforcement, I want to highlight some of the dangerous individuals captured by the Department of Homeland Security. It is my goal to keep you updated on the great work our men and women in law enforcement are doing to”.
On December 9, 2025, Guest shared another post without additional commentary: “https://t.co/34tZovSr1C”.
Guest has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after succeeding Gregg Harper. Born in Woodbury, New Jersey in 1970 and currently residing in Brandon, he holds degrees from Mississippi State University (BS) and the University of Mississippi (JD).
