Leake County Extension Office – Leake 4H Kayak Club

22 attendees from the Leake 4H Kayak Club enjoyed a day on the Chunky River.

We studied how a tornado (leaving trees in the water) affects water flow, the engineering of a train trestle, conservation and clean up (trash collection) and even talked about how a deer stand was placed near a deer crossing and water source.

Education can be fun. #leakecountyextension #MS4H #LearnWithExtension #MSUext

The SR 4H youth stepped up and helped out with low water areas and Levi and Weston were our overall garbage collection winners.

Thank you to all our adult volunteers and my coworker who helped make this possible.
