On Friday, March 28, former Madison Central High School standout Jake Cook’s current college team, the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the South Alabama Jaguars.

The game took place at Pete Taylor Park. This was their first matchup against the Jaguars this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at Pete Taylor Park against South Alabama Jaguars.
