Congressman Michael Guest, who represents Mississippi’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, posted several updates on his social media account this week, focusing on healthcare developments and law enforcement efforts in Mississippi.
On March 7, Guest shared news about the opening of a new medical facility: “Jimmie Nichols on my staff attended the ribbon cutting for the Mississippi Urology Cancer Center in Flowood. I am thankful to see new medical offices opening across our district to better serve the people of our community.”
The following day, he highlighted recent actions by law enforcement: “This week, I want to highlight some of the dangerous individuals captured by the Department of Homeland Security in our own state of Mississippi. It is important that we not lose sight of the work our men and women in law enforcement are doing to keep our communities safe.” Later that day, he posted a third message containing only a link: “https://t.co/DnK04HyO8T”.
Michael Guest has represented Mississippi’s 3rd District since 2019 after succeeding Gregg Harper. He was born in Woodbury, New Jersey in 1970 and currently resides in Brandon. Guest graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993 and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi two years later.
