In a post made at 20:44 UTC, Guest shared that “My District Director Brady Stewart met with Smokey Bear. Since 1944, Smokey has been the iconic symbol for U.S. wildfire prevention and he reminds us that ‘only you can prevent wildfires.’”
Later that evening at 22:36 UTC, Guest noted further outreach efforts involving his staff: “Brady Stewart and Jimmie Nichols on my staff were honored to attend the groundbreaking that will open access to Lake Okhissa. Lake Okhissa, located in Franklin County, is an important ongoing economic development project that will benefit the people of Southwest Mississippi.”

Michael Guest has served as the representative for Mississippi’s 3rd Congressional District since replacing Gregg Harper in 2019. He was born in Woodbury, New Jersey in 1970 and currently resides in Brandon. Guest holds a Bachelor of Science from Mississippi State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi.
