Congressman Michael Guest, who represents Mississippi’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his work and engagements with constituents via social media.
On February 18, 2026, Guest posted gratitude to local health advocates: “Thank you to Rankin County folks with the Community Health Center Association of Mississippi for stopping by my office. I am thankful for the work the Community Health Centers do to serve people across our great state.”
The following day, on February 19, he referenced the historic symbolism of poppies in honoring veterans: “Poppies became popular as a way to recognize veterans at the end of World War I, following the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ by Major John McCrae. In order to honor the service of the men and women who have served our nation, I am proud to co-sponsor legislation that would recognize”
Later that same day, Guest described his regular outreach efforts within his district: “Each and every week my team and I are traveling to meet with constituents throughout the district. Last week we had the chance to visit several coffee clubs including this group in Brandon. We appreciate these gentlemen allowing us to join them to fellowship and share a cup of”
Michael Guest has represented Mississippi’s 3rd District since 2019 after succeeding Gregg Harper. He was born in Woodbury, New Jersey in 1970 and now resides in Brandon. His educational background includes a BS from Mississippi State University (1993) and a JD from the University of Mississippi (1995).
