Congressman Michael Guest, who represents Mississippi’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted community engagement and constituent outreach through a series of posts on his social media account.
On March 20, 2026, Guest expressed appreciation for student visitors to the Capitol, writing, “Thank you to the East Mississippi Community College students who stopped by the Capitol while in Washington, D.C. I always enjoy visiting with students who come to Washington to learn more about our Republic and the role that Congress plays in our federal government.”
Later that day, Guest acknowledged a meeting between a member of his staff and a local business leader: “Chad Dixon on my staff met with Justin Atwood of Amped Up Electric. I am thankful for the 25 plus years of experience that Justin has as a master electrician. Thank you, Justin, for keeping the lights on across our communities.”
On March 21, 2026, Guest noted further community involvement at a local political gathering: “Chad Dixon attended the Covington County Republican Women’s meeting for March. At the meeting he caught up with MFRW President Diane Pickering and State Treasurer David McRae. David was the keynote speaker and updated the group on the great work he and his team are doing on”
Guest has represented Mississippi’s 3rd District since 2019 after succeeding Gregg Harper. He was born in Woodbury, New Jersey in 1970 and currently resides in Brandon. Guest is an alumnus of Mississippi State University (BS, 1993) and holds a JD from the University of Mississippi (1995).
