Congressman Michael Guest, who represents Mississippi’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on his official Twitter account between March 27 and March 28, 2026.
On March 27, Guest shared a historical note in honor of the upcoming 250th anniversary of American independence. Later that day, Guest expressed appreciation for local officials from Kemper County visiting his Washington office. On March 28, Guest addressed border security issues in his capacity as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Border Security and Enforcement. Michael Guest has served in Congress since replacing Gregg Harper in 2019 and continues to represent Mississippi’s 3rd District. Born in Woodbury, New Jersey in 1970, Guest resides in Brandon, Mississippi at age 53. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s degree before earning a Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi.
