Congressman Michael Guest, who represents Mississippi’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of updates on his official social media account between February 16 and 17, 2026.

On February 16, Guest highlighted the work of Dewey Arthur, Circuit Court Judge for Rankin and Madison Counties. He wrote: “Chad Dixon on my staff recently caught up with the Honorable Dewey Arthur, Circuit Court Judge for Rankin and Madison Counties. Dewey has served Rankin and Madison Counties as both a prosecutor and now as Circuit Court Judge. Thank you for your continued service to our community.”

Later that day, Guest acknowledged efforts by utility workers following severe winter weather in Mississippi. In a post at 22:52 UTC he stated: “I enjoyed visiting with Haley Fisackerly who is the CEO of Entergy Mississippi. I want to personally thank Haley and the hundreds of linemen who worked day and night to restore power in the wake of Winter Storm Fern.”

On February 17, Guest addressed national housing policy in response to ongoing affordability concerns. He posted: “In response to the housing crisis, that was created by the failed policies of the Biden – Harris Administration, House Republicans voted on legislation that lowers the costs of buying a house for families across our nation. Guest has represented Mississippi’s 3rd District since succeeding Gregg Harper in 2019 and currently resides in Brandon after being born in Woodbury, New Jersey in 1970. He holds degrees from Mississippi State University (BS) and earned his JD from the University of Mississippi.
