Congressman Michael Guest, who represents Mississippi’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted local business engagement and called for election reforms in a series of posts on his social media account.
On February 10, 2026, Guest posted about a meeting with business leaders in Meridian: “Thank you to Bill Hannah and members of the Compass team for meeting with me in Meridian. I am excited about the investment Compass is making in East Mississippi and the impact it will have on our state’s economy.”
The following day, he acknowledged local entrepreneurship within his district: “Chad Dixon on my staff visited with Hunter Tucker who owns Dixie Hunting Products in Pearl. I am thankful for the many businesses in the Third Congressional District that serve our hunters and outdoorsmen.” This post was made on February 11, 2026.
Later that same day, Guest addressed concerns about election security: “The United States of America should be leading the world with secure elections that promote election integrity but instead, unlike the nations listed above, we don’t require photo ID to vote. This must be corrected and our elections must be secured. That is why I am a proud”.
Guest has served as U.S. Representative since 2019 after succeeding Gregg Harper. He was born in Woodbury, New Jersey in 1970 and currently resides in Brandon at age 53. His educational background includes a BS from Mississippi State University (1993) and a JD from the University of Mississippi (1995).
