Congressman Michael Guest, who represents Mississippi’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on April 11, 2026, covering topics from national achievements to local engagement.

On April 11, Guest welcomed back astronauts from a recent space mission: “Welcome home to the brave crew of Artemis II.  America is proud of these heroes who successfully completed their historic mission and returned home safely.”

Later that day, Guest addressed his role as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Border Security and Enforcement by acknowledging law enforcement efforts: “As the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Border Security and Enforcement, I want to highlight some of the dangerous individuals captured by the Department of Homeland Security. It is my goal to keep you updated on the great work our men and women in law enforcement are doing to”

In another post dated April 11, Guest highlighted staff interactions with state officials: “Jimmie Nichols on my staff recently talked with Mississippi state Representatives Stacey Hobgood-Wilkes, Jill Ford, and Becky Currie. Thank you, ladies, for your service to Mississippi.”

Michael Guest has served as a member of Congress since replacing Gregg Harper in 2019. He was born in Woodbury, New Jersey in 1970 and currently resides in Brandon. Guest holds degrees from Mississippi State University (BS) and the University of Mississippi (JD).
