Congratulations to Mendenhall High School junior Jaden Johnson for being named a 2022 Borlaug Scholar for her participation in the World Food Prize Mississippi Youth Institute.
Jaden engaged with local leaders and experts on critical global challenges, participated in hands-on activities and explored exciting ways to make a difference in Mississippi and around the world.
Because of her participation, Jaden is now eligible to be selected for a $500 scholarship to study in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Mississippi State University and is qualified for internships and other opportunities.
