Of the 7,175 people living in Richland in 2019, 49.7 percent (3,566) were women and 50.3 percent (3,609) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SC Mississippi News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 2,259-to-2,171. In the 65 and over age range, there were 435 females and 506 males.
