On March 14, former Northwest Rankin High School star LeVionne Lindsey and his collegiate squad, the Catawba Indians, were defeated 78-75 by the Columbus State Cougars in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, which began at noon at Abney Athletic Center, marked the teams’ first meeting in the tournament.
