On Tuesday, March 17, at 6 p.m., Brady Thomas, a former Northwest Rankin High School standout, and the Jacksonville State Gamecocks fell 7-6 to the Samford Bulldogs in an NCAA Division I baseball contest.

Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium hosted the matchup, marking the teams’ first meeting this season.

Thomas gave up three earned runs across three innings and tallied four strikeouts.

The Gamecocks are slated to play next on Wednesday, March 18, at 3 p.m. at Toyota Field, facing the Alabama A&M Bulldogs.
